CEP is split into three areas:

  • The education of young people who are outside of traditional education establishments.

  • The development of inclusive activities for young people during holidays and evenings.

  • Developing a woodland community which serves as both an education and leisure base for multiple groups.

An important part of what CEP does is to offer Education and Enrichment Packages to young people who are struggling to reach their full potential in mainstream education. CEP works with parents, individual schools and academies to enhance the learning experience of the students. CEP delivers academic and vocational qualifications, if appropriate, supported by enrichment and enhancement activities to young people who access CEP.

The need for young people whether in or out of mainstream education to gain skills and confidence to become active citizens is a core principle of all CEP’s engagement. These qualifications offer a pathway to employment and/ or further training and CEP supports many young people who have multiple agency support and often chaotic home lives.

The need for strong mentors with self discipline and work ethic is vital to the progression of young people both within the work place and wider society.
